MEET LINDA
A proven leader rooted in civic dedication and hands-on service.
Linda Adams has spent her career bringing people together, strengthening community institutions, and turning good ideas into practical results. Linda currently serves as Board Secretary of Trusted Homes Community Land Trust and as a Board Member of the Ashland Food Project. Her civic and campaign experience includes serving as Chair of Ashland’s Transportation Advisory Committee, Vice Chair of the Citizens Budget Committee, and in leadership and treasury roles supporting local schools, housing, and public-service campaigns.
Linda believes Ashland is at its best when it is creative, adaptable, and collaborative. As the city faces important decisions about its budget, housing, infrastructure, climate resilience, and the services residents depend on, she believes City Council must be willing to make thoughtful, forward-looking decisions rather than simply taking small incremental steps. Her approach is rooted in strategic fiscal responsibility, inclusive governance, respect for City staff, fact-based decision-making, and bringing community institutions together to solve shared problems.
Linda’s commitment to Ashland is grounded in hands-on service and a belief that local government can improve people’s lives when residents are meaningfully engaged. She will work to strengthen wildfire preparedness and climate adaptation, expand opportunities for affordable housing, protect Ashland’s parks and open spaces, and pursue sustainable revenue solutions without using fiscal challenges as an excuse for unnecessary austerity. Linda is running for City Council to bring experienced, collaborative, and practical leadership to Ashland’s future.
